ICYMI: The Persian Gulf International Airport weather station reported a "heat index" (aka humidex) of 67 degrees Celsius (152 degrees Fahrenheit) on July 16, 2023.

While the actual temperature recorded was 40C (104F), the very high humidity pushed the heat to unbearable levels.

71 degree Celsius is the upper threshold of what humans can endure.
