My health insurance company likes to send me “helpful” letters about “managing” my conditon(s).
Here’s their offer of help with #bipolar1 : a mood chart thing.
This is useless. It can be hard to eat, sleep, take medication, interact with others, go to the doctor, return phone calls, and/or remember what day it is. So no, I cannot complete this complex form, even on my best day, which is itself depressing.
@silver_foxology
I get them, too--because they think I need help with "compliance." Um, my asthma has been well-controlled for 15 years, and my autoimmune med involves seeing my rheumatologist and having labs every 3 months because THAT'S THE PROTOCOL AND I'M COMPLYING WITH IT.
I totally could not do that ridiculous form yours sent you --especially when I'm having flares. I need what emergy I still have for everyday life--as I suspect you do.
@PragmatistProf sure do. My RA is well controlled, now. But wow it was painful for a long time.
