Sometimes I get anxious to leave my home, which is ironic because I do generally feel more comfortable out in nature. But I always go back to this photo when I need a reminder of feeling brave on a path, during my lone treks in Alaska.

I wasn't the most diligent of Sunday school pupils, so I guess I missed the parable of the dude who said 'Do as I say, or the monkey gets it!'

@camwilson also #wood is a #rebewable and #CarbonNeutral source.

So it does make sense given modern #engineering to do so.

As for the #blades there sadly doesn't seem to be much of an alternative to #composite #plastic which is not recycleable as even cutting it into pieces makes #GlassFiber shards that are jist barely less toxic as #asbestos.

Rarely the cost to do so is worth the effort, given those ain't straight but curved pieces of #plastic...

Brass cast little sculpture of a wood cube showing tunnels carved by a woodworm. Of course the tree was already firewood when I found it, I only cut it into a rough cube. And the woodworm was long gone: Wherever you are, I hope you're OK, it was nice making this collab with you.
