Honorable mention, because I finished it yesterday, I also read 'Water Moon' by Samantha Sotto Yambao.
It was okay I guess. I gave it 4 stars. It was a little too twee for me in some places.

I am almost about at the end of 'Consider Phlebas' by Iain M. Banks.
I have found this book okay and rather uneven. I like the characters and I like the universe, and I'm not quite sure what precisely is disatisfying to me. I'm hoping the next Culture books are better though.
This week I'm reading 'The Garden' by Nick Newman.
So far this is an odd book that is a little sad, a little poignant, and a little creepy. It features two elderly sisters living together in the kitchen and walled garden of their stately home that has been mostly sealed off. They seem to be the only people alive. Very odd, but there is still a lot to explore.
Good morning. My #FridayReads is I'm Starting To Worry About This Black Box Of Doom by Jason Pargin. #Books

@bookstodon I'm finishing a reread (relisten) of Redemption in Indigo by Karen Lord. Does anyone have any other favorite books where the narrator is the storyteller like this?
@Abibliophobia @bookstodon #fridayreads #weekendreads I just started and am LOVING Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin. Already 80 pages in and can’t get enough. Anyone else read it? I’m going to need to talk about this one when I’m done…
