Salish Sea Sunrise - 4th session

I worked another hour on this piece in between rain bursts when it was too dark to mix colours. I'm slowly building up the details of the background, hoping to get the glow of the source photo. Then once the background is better established I'll start incorporating those colours into my ferry riding chicken person who is missing the beautiful scene because her book is just too good.

“A majestic #polar #bear wandering through a sea of blazing magenta fireweed. The scene was #surreal, the golden hues of sunrise mingled with the vibrant fireweed, creating a breathtaking backdrop as the bear hunted for Arctic Terns among the rocks. After a successful hunt and a morning snack, the bear settled into the fireweed for rest,”the photographer explains.“This fleeting experience was a powerful reminder of the raw magic and tranquility of the #Arctic wilderness.”

I haven't shown these anywhere for many years. Stepping back in time to my early 20's (1990's) and a very exploratory and experimental era. Apart from copious amounts of various 'substances' my artistic influences back then came through Dali, Escher, Giger and a fistful of New York and Melbourne stylewriters - (graffiti artists). I consider both of them to be 'inner self portraits' in many ways.

hello everyone
Since I just moved here, here is a short introduction and more info about me...
I'm chris and go by the handle TripTilt. And my art is like that, I make colorful images/animations between #worldbuilding scenery and #abstract #artworks, bordering on the #surreal and #absurd.
The pixels are mostly created in the great open source software #b3d #blender3d. I also write (mostly electronic) music and enjoy listening to drum n bass a lot myself, so sometimes my music is dnb as well. 1/2
