They're our closest neighbour after the US (unless you count that little bit of France in the St Lawrence, lol).</p><p>If the US takes Greenland, they will be able to control the Northwest Passage, blocking our shipping lanes out of Hudson's Bay.</p><p>They would also be poised to basically jump across to Canada.</p><p>Greenland's sovereignty (in whatever form they choose) is Canada's, too.</p><p>We have to stand united.</p><p>And boot the US out of NATO. They are acting anti-NATO right now.
